Cinnamon Rainbows, Tom Curren, and other stuff.

I went last night to the New Hampshire Premiere of Walking on Water, great film with a great message. I got to meet Tom Curren and took his portrait, I’ll post some photos soon. Tom and his band rocked out for a half hour before the film started. Check the links on the right.

Let the Music Play!

Last week I got to do a shoot with G. Love in Harvard square and Harvard yard. G. Love used to jam out there as a street musician back in ‘92, so I took some shots of him at some old sots for my street musicians project that I have been working on. He’s a very talented musician singer/songwriter, be sure to get his new album Superhero Brother on June 26th. He’ll also be touring with John Butler Trio and Tristan Prettyman this summer, click on the link on the right to visit his website for tourdates.

Three Amigos Art Show

Two weeks from today is the three amigos art show at the Montanaro Gallery in Newport, RI. The show will feature works of art by Andy Davis, Jeff Canham, and Tyler Warren. All three are great artists from California, each with their own distinctive style. I have added links to each of their websites on the right in the links section. All three artists are going to be in attendance at the shows opening, so I will be heading down to see the show and hopefully get some portraits of these guys in front of their work. More Cameras to add to the list

The other week I went to a camera show put on by the Photographic Historical Society of New England (PHSNE). The show was pretty cool, lots of old and new cameras for sale. I bought two cameras, both at great deals. The first is an olympus pen-ee, a point-and-shoot 35mm camera that shoots half frame. The second camera that I bought is a polaroid land camera 350. Both camera’s are in mint shaped, can’t wait to go take some shots with them, still lookin’ for a battery for the polaroid though.

Photo Display at Starbucks in Wayland, MA

I have a display of surf photographs up at the Starbucks in Wayland, MA. The photos that are up are from a series of color photographs I have shot over the last couple of months. The photos were shot on film and printed in the darkroom by me, no digital process was used in the making of the photographs and prints. They are on sale for $100 each.
